Prego Pictures

I know this may sound vain...but I love my baby bump! I also have a love of other ladies baby bumps! I love maternity pictures! So to say that I've been excitedly planning my maternity shoot since I found out I was growing a little bean may be a little bit of an understatement!

And what a blessing that I found this amazing, lovely photographer to do our pictures. :)
{Quick plug for Whitney Robinson! She's the bomb! Any of my local loves need pictures I highly suggest her! She was so sweet and made us instantly feel comfortable! Plus once you get a peek at her work you'll love it!! HERE is a link for her blog! Seriously check her out!}

Scott of course had to complain and drag his feet about it. And ask why he needed to be in any of the pictures but he is seriously so photogenic that its totally unfair! And in the end we both had such a great time! We went to Ruston Way down kind of by Tacoma right on the water front and we couldn't have asked for a better day! It was sunny and beautiful and so much fun! I love being so close to the water! We also took the Shuga baby with us! She's such a nut she was in doggy Heaven! I'm not sure if I've mentioned it, but she thinks that she was born to hunt motorcycles! She wants to chase them and she barks at every motorcycle she sees it's ridiculous! So there were like a million and one motorcycles out in the beautiful weather and she was just falling over herself trying to get at them and barking and just loving every minute of it all! We got there early and walked around and played with Shuga and then we took pictures and well I loved every minute of it!

Well so far we just have these two teaser pictures and I am bitting my fingernails waiting for the rest! Whitney is seriously so talented and has such a good eye! I can't wait to see what else she captured!!

Easter 2013

I love holidays! Ok maybe love is an understatement! I was raised by a mother who is not only amazing but wonderful and so talented and special...so much so that I could and should just write a blog post all about her! But that will have to wait for another day. Anyways, my momma always decorated for holidays and always even when money was tight made the most of these fun days...so I love holidays and tend to get pretty excited for them. This is something that thankfully Scott grew up with as well so he understands my craziness :)

When holidays come around they make me extra homesick because I long to be with my family because after all family is what most holidays are all about....this Easter was no different. I awoke with a lump in my throat and a tear or two because I yearned for home and for my family and mostly for my sweet parents. Well I quickly distracted myself and forgot about being too homesick and then I got this sweet txt from my family! OH I just love them!!!
This is our 2013 family Easter picture! Look at that baby bump!! I was 20 weeks pregnant in this picture. :) OH just think next Easter we will have our little man with us! Life is a beautiful wonderful thing! I'm so thankful for Easter and for the atonement of my Lord and Savior that make eternal families possible and that makes repentance and progression possible!

It's a BOY!

It's a boy! I've felt all along in this pregnancy that I would have a boy so I really wasn't too surprised! Scott on the other hand was holding out for a baby girl to spoil and love and to make into a daddy's girl :) Everything looks great! Both baby and I are healthy and growing at an alarming rate!

Scott came with my to my Dr's appointment with my new Doctor, Dr. Taggart. Who is amazing! Love the man! He did an in office ultrasound and told us that if he had to bet on it that he would say he's 90% sure we are having a boy! SO we then scheduled a legit ultra sound and waited!!

I called and told my mom right away, Scott wanted to surprise his parents so when he got home from school he met me at his parents house. Scott and I have a thing for slurpee's {side note...after we got engaged we went and got slurpee's to celebrate. Scott's parents were with us that day} so I ran to 7/11 and bought a blue slurpee to tell his parents that we were pretty sure it was a boy!

Scott, Suzanne and Larry and I were all at the ultra sound which was a lot of fun! We sure are blessed to live so close to such loving and supportive family! After the ultra sound, where it was confirmed that indeed I'm making a little man, we went to Red Robin for lunch to celebrate!

The waitress was so sweet she gave us blue balloons and we got dessert to celebrate! What a fun day!

House pictures

Our First House! Our very own!

Front entry
So for those of you that didn't know...we bought our very first, very own house! We couldn't be happier {well except for when it comes time to pay the mortgage every month}Just kidding...but really! It's brand new, they finished building it in December and we moved in the middle of January! It's four bedroom two and a half bath. With a two car garage that is full of junk and no cars : ) and it's just over 1700 square feet! It's just perfect for what we need! We have slowly been getting moved in and settled, there are still lots of pictures and shelves to hang and the walls defiantly need to be painted so they aren't so boring {Scott thinks they're fine the way they are...boys} We just love it and I can't wait to get started on the nursery!! I'm thinking Wayne coating on the walls and maybe gray. Then depending on if it's a girl or boy I'll accent it in blues or yellows.

Garage upgrades...Scott got upper and lower cabinets from a work space that they were demoing that would have just been thrown away. He saved them for several months until we moved in. Cabinets are super expensive so they were a blessing!!
Scott has has this sign since before we met. He loves it. He stuck it up there the night that we moved in and left it there for a good two weeks. I told him that he better take it down before the neighbors started to complain or before the HOA contacted us lol .
I have a million other pictures which I will post at some future date! But for now we are feeling so very blessed and so very poor! :)
