Scott turned 27 over the Thanksgiving holiday! We were in Seattle with our family and so that in itself was a great present. It was also black friday so we had a lot of fun shopping! For dinner we went to Seven Sea's the best chinese place in the whole wide world!! We had cheese cake bites and just had a blast being home in Washington.

Snow in Seattle...

Being a lil' Wyomin girl I'm used to lots of snow but up in Seattle they aren't so used to it. So we were a little suprised to wake up to snow this week so I did what I do best and snapped some pictures...

CHRISTMAS TIME AT THE GRAY'S

I know you all of you think that I am lame for "skipping" Thanksgiving, and just jumping to Chrismas. But I have NOT forgotten Thanksgiving. In fact I rather love the holiday. Who doesn't enjoy stuffing their face? I love food and I love my family, and Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse of a holiday to enjoy both. Do I think that thanksgiving should be in November right in the way of Christmas? NO not really...it is quite inconvient but do I ignore it? No! I still enjoy the holiday, surrounded by the sights and sounds of Christmas! Here is my latest Christmast Craft...Redneck Shot gun shell Christmas lights! I saw some at a hardware store, in Washington believe it or not. So I made scott buy them for my early birthday present. Scott and some of his friends went shooting and I had them save the shells and then together we put them on a string of lights! Oh how I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

Please note I still have pumpkins out...that's kind of Thanksgiving-ish. :)

A librarian's Nightmare.

So I was reading the blogs and found this cute wreath and decided to make a few. You can find the link HERE
I love how they turned out! I'm working on my third one right now. :) Oh how I love cafting!!

Hallowen.

Halloween this year was pretty low key for us. I had to work that night. So Scott stayed home alone while I made some money. At Cragio's the pizza place that I work, we have a costume contest. I decided to be a punk rock Princess. With my coustume I took...Drum roll please. 2nd place! I was only one vote behind first. But 2nd place came with $50.00 so I guess washing the crystal light and glue out of my hair was all worth it. :)

School for Scott.

I know that this is super late! Ok really really late! Scott graduates in 6 weeks! SIX! Can you believe it? He can he is so excited and can't wait to be done with college. But then on to med school. Anyways, here are pictures of Scott's first day of school on his last year in college. He wasn't very happy when I made him pose for these haha but what can I say? I love my camera and the memories that pictures leave us with.

I know its really dark but the other one I took is worst and he wouldn't wait for me to take anymore.

crafts...

Well as many of you may or may not know, I totally suck at being crafty. I don't know if it's that I don't have the eye for it or what, but I've just never been good at that kind of thing. Yet, in the evenings while Scott is studying for school and I have the house cleaned and my homework done and have nothing to do, I all of a sudden have this urge to craft. I don't get it either, because I'm just not crafty. But I have sat down and done some so I thought that I would share what I've been up to.

The 3 Best Friends That Anyone Could Ever Have!

This is a long overdue post dedicated to the best girlfriends any girl could ever hope to have! You three know who you are! We have been together since the 7th grade! Cait, Sue and Aubs! Here is to three stong independent woman who make my world a better place!

We've laughed until we've cried, we've cried until we laughed. We've shared more makeup, boys, clothes, shoes, memories, laughs, and who knows what else, then anyone can imagine. We've been through hell and back together. We know each other like no one else ever will.

You three have held me together when nothing else could and when I broke, one of you was always there to hold me. I love you all for very different reasons but in the end I love you all the same.

Some of the best times we've had together will never leave me, like sleeping on the tramp together, swimming at lava, our senior trip to heaven on earth...LAKE POWELL, midnight maverick trips from cait's house, drinking hot coco with sue, crying over boys who weren't worth it, laying out in our bikinis at cait's house, watching movies at aubs, dying our hair, crying over more boys, dying my hair before and after state golf, going to state wrestling,my bridal shower at caits, Mason in Salt Lake. My Wedding! The list goes on and on. There isn't a memory from high school without one of you in it. And I pray that in the future that we will continue to all keep making memories.

“Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends.”

I love the three of you so very much! Thank you for everything!

red nails on a rainy day

I know, I know more wedding pictures...sorry I just can't help it...

So I've really been a slacker at blogging these last few months so I'm gonna play catch up today. In the last few months Scott and I moved back to Rexburg. Scott plans on graduating in December if all goes well. I am off track (weird BYU-I thing) so I'm taking online classes which really suck. And I'm working full time at Cragios, an all you can eat pizza, pasta, salad joint. We have been busy the last few weeks trying to get settled in and trying to find a routine. We finally have our appartment the way that we want it and we love it. for now. ;) We will definatly not spend the rest of our lives in Idaho! No thank you! (pictures of our appt coming soon)

Living so close to my family we have been able to go home the last two weekends and spend some time with them. Its such a blessing to have them close! Scott and I were able to watch my little brother Samuel play some 8th grade football! We were able to learn how to can beans with my mom and we helped my grandma move in with my parents. Along with other activities, fishing and shooting.

We also found out last weekend that my oldest siter Alexandra is having a little girl! She is due sometime in febuary. I'm so excited to be an auntie! again haha. We are doing well and are so blessed! We love you all and hope that things are going well for all of you!
